KNX is the first standard for open building automation, protected by royalty and independent of operating platform, approved as European (EN 50090 – EN 13321-1) and international standard (ISO / IEC 14543). The standard was developed by KNX Association.
One of the strengths of the KNX system, is that any product labeled with the KNX trademark is not a simple statement made by the manufacturer, but is backed up by tests of conformity carried out by the KNX laboratories. As part of these tests, the KNX protocol compatibility of the device is tested, but also its useful data is coded according to the KNX standardized data parameters. This permits the construction of systems that will also operate by combining devices produced by different manufacturers. KNX Association member companies have over 7000 products in their catalogs.
The close SAET partnership with the multinational giant ABB has made possible the integration of every product in the KNX ABB catalog on the GEMMS Supervision platform. The integration has been certified by IMQ.

BACnet is a data interchange “open” protocol, with no ownership or right of use, especially used in the application of regulation and control of the mechanical heating systems, air conditioning and air treatment.
The SAET GEMSS Supervision platform can integrate every product and system with a BACnet standard.
